RANKRENT THE RECORD, KEPT HONESTLY

The ledger

Every round of the portfolio, written up as it happens: the wins, the costs, the flops and the waiting. This page is the course's credentials, which means it only works if it never flatters. Entries land roughly fortnightly.

Round two: somebody else is on the ground

4 new sites in a morning 3 regions 15 grounds held ~$330 total domain spend ~800 pages built

The system got its first real test: could it build a new region without starting over? Four sites went up in a morning, two for St George and two for the Northern Beaches, forty-seven to fifty-three pages each, from the same generator with region, brand and accent moved into config. Region three is now almost pure content cost.

The sharper discovery came from the domain check: nine of the eleven obvious trade names for the Northern Beaches were already registered. Somebody else is running this playbook on that ground. That is validation and urgency in the same search result, and it is why territory, module one of the course, comes before everything else.

Two mistakes worth owning in public. A share image had a plumbing tagline hardcoded, so nine non-plumbing sites briefly carried it: every hardcoded string is a future cross-niche bug, now config-driven. And the single biggest blocker of the whole launch so far has not been technical at all: an activation email for the lead forms sitting unclicked in an inbox. Leads deliver nowhere until the boring click happens.

Round one: eleven grounds, one October

11 sites built 2 live, 9 launching 42 suburb pages per site 500+ fixes in the compliance pass 0 tenants · $0 earned

The portfolio exists. Eleven trade sites for the Sutherland Shire, built on a static system that scores 98 on PageSpeed, each with its service pages, forty-two suburb pages, a cost guide and a three-step quote journey. Two are live; nine flip on as their domains connect.

The unglamorous part was the longest: a forensic compliance pass of more than five hundred fixes across the network. Asbestos warnings on the right pages, the NSW pool certificate rules stated properly, licence claims removed where no licence backs them, invented lines neutralised, privacy disclosures added. Every site also carries a response promise, answered within the hour, seven days, which only stays honest because the enquiry pipes are gated: a form that cannot deliver does not count as live.

And the honest scoreboard: zero rankings of note yet (the domains are days old), zero tenants, zero dollars. Nothing here is for sale until that paragraph changes in public. That is the whole point of this page.
