RANKRENT NINE MODULES · TERRITORY TO TENANT

The Rank and Rent Method

Nine modules, written from the same playbook my own fifteen-site portfolio runs on. Not theory: documentation. It opens for sale when the portfolio can prove lead flow, not before, and the waitlist hears first, at a launch price nobody else sees.

The season draw.

Every module ends with something built, not something watched. Tap a round for what it covers.

Round 0The asset class+

What rank and rent actually is, the honest economics of a lead, what can go wrong, and the ground rules that keep you clean with the ACCC: no misleading claims, licensing honesty, and why fake reviews end ventures. You finish knowing whether this game is for you at all.

Round 1Territory+

Picking a suburb and a trade on maths: search demand, competition strength, what one job is worth, what a lead should rent for. You finish with three scored territories and one chosen.

Round 2The domain game+

Exact-match .com.au domains: eligibility, the ABN requirement, what makes a name rentable, and portfolio thinking from day one. You finish owning the right domain, not just a domain.

Round 3The build system+

The static site system my portfolio runs: service pages, suburb pages, a cost guide, a three-step quote journey, and page speed in the high nineties without a developer. You finish with a site standing.

Round 4Content that earns trust+

The compliance sweep: licence claims, safety warnings, privacy disclosures, a response promise you can keep, and nothing invented anywhere. The least glamorous module and the one that protects the whole asset.

Round 5Rank+

Search Console and Bing, FAQ schema and AI answers, interlinking, and what actually moves local rankings in 2026, with the real timeline from my own sites instead of promises. You finish indexed, measured and climbing.

Round 6Leads+

Forms with delivery gates so enquiries never die silently, call options, response time as the conversion lever, and lead quality control so the tenant gets jobs, not junk.

Round 7Rent+

Finding the tenant tradie, flat rent versus per lead, the plain-English rental agreement, and handover that keeps the asset yours. You finish with the paperwork and the pitch, ready for the first conversation.

Round 8The portfolio+

Running more than one ground: the weekly operating rhythm, when a site earns a sibling, hold versus sell, and the compounding that makes rung one worth the slog.

The school.

After the course comes the clubroom: a membership with one live build or teardown every month, and the territory register.

The register is the scarce part: one member per suburb and trade, first claimed, so the school never trains your competitor into your own territory. Members watch real builds monthly, bring their own grounds for teardown, and read the Ledger's working in full. It opens after the first course intake finishes, and course students get first claim on territories.
